Best Places to Buy Roman Shades Online

It seems as if there are new sources of Custom Roman Shades popping-up online all of the time.  We did a little review of the pricing from each supplier and thought we would put them all into a nice little cheat sheet for you.  It is important for us to be as competitive as possible in our quest to provide our Customers with the best value in custom drapes and Roman Shades.  Whenever we see that we are not competitive with any of the products that we sell, we try to dig in and determine, “why?” and how do we fix it.

Here is a recent review of Roman Shade Pricing that we completed.

Our first comparison is for a Tailored or Pleated Roman Shade Style.  We selected a Solid Linen Fabric with standard privacy lining.

For our next comparison we looked at a Flat Roman Shade Panel with Blackout Lining, also in Linen Fabric.  We were suprised that Restoration Hardware did not offer a Silk Roman Shade Option.  Here are the results for the Flat Roman Shade Option.

We’ll be comparing prices on more options from more Retailers in the near future and publish our results.

Contemporary Roman Shades

We love these Roman Shades in Gate White /Black.  Roman Shades can be very contemporary and don’t need to be expensive!  We have some great options that start under $250 per shade which includes linings.  You can also experiment with layering silk drapes over Roman Shades for added depth, contrast and texture.

Combining Drapes and Roman Shades, or even Shutters is a great way to add more depth and interest to a window or door.  You can specify that the Roman Shades be “decorative” which will help stretch your budget.  Call one of our Designers, we would love to give you some ideas on how to add Roman Shades to your Home!
